Sacramento County is bringing an urgency ordinance to the Board of Supervisors on June 21 that will set in place a temporary process for marijuana dispensaries to be permitted and operate in the unincorporated areas within specific conditions. Many outspoken advocates have recent spoken out about the criminalization of medical cannabis.

The County of Sacramento’s refusal to recognize this value and the needs of Sacramento residents must not be tolerated.
